2012 Annual Christmas Party and Dinner - December 21, 2012
Please join us for our Annual Christmas Party and Dinner! The Linwood Community Church has graciously offered to host a Christmas Party and Dinner for our Habitat families, sponsors and volunteers. The dinner is scheduled for Friday, December 21st at 6:30 PM at the Linwood Community Church located at 1838 Shore Road, Linwood, New Jersey 08221. Please R.S.V.P. by Wednesday, December 12th. Sandy Santas - December 17, 2012
Can't wait to meet Sandy Santas as we partner together with Hooked on Ventnor Disaster Recovery Team to provide toys to over 200 children in Ventnor on Sunday. Drop off time is 1:30PM. Merry Christmas Kids! Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Klaus!

WHO: Habitat for Humanity Atlantic County in cooperation with Atlantic County Institute of Technology, New Jersey Association of Realtors Housing Opportunity Foundation and Galloway Township

WHAT: Will celebrate the completion of Habitat for Humanity Atlantic County’s 5th house constructed in Galloway Township

WHEN: Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: 300A Yam Avenue, Galloway, New Jersey 08205

This project is the result of  a cooperative partnership.  The shell of the  house was built by the instructors and students at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology to meet the special needs of the Hidalgo family.  Our building committee along with loyal contractors, sponsors and volunteers helped to complete the construction of the house. We are so very honored and privileged to have received a donation of $55,000 from the New Jersey Association of Realtors Housing Opportunity Foundation towards the construction of this house. The land was provided through the Township of Galloway and is a COAH project.  As a result, the Hidalgo family is now able to own an affordable house of their own that meets the special needs of their son. This is our second wheelchair accessible house in Galloway Township.  Numerous business and community partners also contributed to this effort. Homeowner Delsy Hidalgo’s son is an honor student at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Delsy’s daughter attends the Atlantic County Institute of Technology.

There will also be a special presentation by the Mainland Regional High School Crew Team.
