Habitat for Humanity Atlantic County, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose goal is to eliminate poverty or sub-standard housing in our community, one house at a time.  We are a volunteer organization that works in partnership with carefully selected families to achieve their goal of obtaining decent, affordable housing for their family.

Our Recent Projects

Michigan Ave, AC

On Tuesday, August 15th, high school students from Diocese of Camden – Lifelong Faith Formation Youth, Young Adult & Campus Ministries worked to rehab a Habitat for Humanity home at 801N Michigan Ave in Atlantic City. It involved moving items and cleaning out the home to begin the home rehab process.

Central Ave: Mendez

This single mother with three children and multiple jobs needed a house to accommodate her son with special needs. Donations from the community and local businesses came together to help make the necessary renovations/additions to the house to make the home wheelchair accessible.

Ohio Ave: Atlantic City

This home was originally constructed by Habitat AC with volunteers from Stockton University. The house is currently being refurbished and Habitat AC is getting ready it ready for a qualified family. The home could be used as a transitional house for Sandy victims.

There are so many ways that one can get involved with Habitat for Humanity. It can be volunteering your time, financial contributions, or even a donation of furniture or other home goods to our ReStore.
